Artist's Comments
Recently, my flashes have gotten next to no favourite and no comments. I'm beginning to get real angry with my watchers, AM I GETTING CRAPPER AT FLASH?? WHAT AM I NOT DOING THAT I SHOULD BE DOING?? WHAT DO I DO TO GET MOAR COMMENTS AND FAVS?????
Well I thought and thought, and remembered that fan flashes get heaps of comments. Eddsworld fan flash, deviant christmas, frz fan flash, etc. dominate my animation's comments. This is, put simply a pathetic attempt to get people to view my shit. Hope it works c: ------ In all seriousness, I'll tell you the whole story. Liek roughly a year ago, when I finished animating Xare Yare Zukai (It's in my scraps now), I realised how bad my frame by frame was. Even though I was tracing the hare hare yukai thing from whatever the anime is called, it was unsmooth sketchy, and basically, shithouse. So shortly after, I decided to lower the frame rate to 18 frames per second, so I could actually animate every single frame. Aight so I was very determined, what, for the first 2 frames? That's when I gave up. Too big a project, too crappy flash skills, impossible. After about 7 months of using flash later (and thanks to a few tutorials on shiftlimits about easing, THANKS THOSE TUTS ARE AWESOME), I found the fla for my 2 frame animation. I began to continue on this animation, however, only drawing the keyframes. At the same time, I composed a dance song for the animation to synchronise to. Oh, btw I shouldn't forget to mention I rotoscoped the keyframes of a youtube video and did the easing trick from those shiftlimits tutorials ([link]). So I finished about 60% of rotoscoping meow meow's dance loop and gave up again. And 3 weeks back from today, I continued animating this. It was really tedious and annoying, but I finished it. I guess the most annoying part, AND I MEAN THE MOST ANNOYING PART, was the last bit, the DDR mockup. Jesus Christ DO YOU KNOW HOW HARD THAT IS TO SYNC PROPERLY, ARGH I DON'T EVEN WANT TO TRY TO FIX IT, ARGH!!! ---- So yes. This is properly the smoothest and longest animation I have ever done that is worthwhile watching. Seriously. I am actually proud of this, so comment and fav pl0x. |

I always look at your work but never comment or fav most of the time. I'm just to lazy.

I like the DDR part. He stopped just like a real BG dancer when steps are still on screen.

just putting my 2 cents dont know if u care, but imo ppl. like ur animations when they are funny/messed up themes like the 4 chan memes and stuff, at least i know i do, the most random and funny stuff u pack the more ppl. will like them, in a way its sad 'cause quality is losing to quantity nowdays but such is life, so imo if u wanna get huge amounts of views, do stuff like b4, meow meow and 4 chan battles or whatever else that comes out /b/ and /m/ its entertaining and newbs like me like it
Faved.
